The Mission
We invite young authors to write about their own "My Hero" — someone whose courage, kindness, or example inspires them — through storytelling, essays, poems, or short reflections.

10% from every submission is donated directly to Yayasan Sunbeams Home to support children in need.

Submit Your
Writing
Share your story and upload it as a PDF via the portal.
Receive Your
E-Certificate
Every participant receives an official international e-certificate after submission within 5 business days.
No word limit for any category.
Writing Formats
No word limits. Submit as either:
✍️ Handwritten
Write by hand on paper, then submit as a clear scan or photograph of the original writing.
⌨️ Typed
Type using a computer, laptop, tablet or other device, and submit in PDF format.
File Format & Requirements
- • PDF (typed) or clear scan/photo (handwritten)
- • Language: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are welcome
- • Any readable font
- • One (1) original submission per participant
- • The story must be the participant's own original work, based on the theme "My Hero"
- • Submission must be clear and readable, and sent by the official deadline
Strictly Prohibited
The use of AI to generate, rewrite, or create the story is strictly prohibited. Any entry found to have used AI will be immediately disqualified. Plagiarism of any kind is not permitted.
Content Restrictions
Entries must not include hate speech or discriminatory content, excessive violence or graphic imagery, explicit adult content, or highly sensitive/political themes. The organiser reserves the right to reject entries that violate these guidelines.
Online Submission Guidelines
- • For handwritten entries: photo/scan must be well-lit and clearly visible
- • Free from shadows, glare or blur
- • Captured straight and fully within the frame
- • High enough in quality for judging purposes
